BEYOND TRENCHES
Beyond Trenches is the Black Inmate Commissary Fund's bi-yearly publication that is distributed for free at our Restoration & Reparation's events. The guide is intended to serve as a resource, political education, and creative tool for people impacted by the prison industrial complex and mass incarceration.

Call for Creators: Beyond Trenches, Volume 2
The Black Inmate Commissary Fund is seeking visual artists, poets, and writers to be featured and have their work published in our zine: Beyond Trenches, Volume 2, a compilation of political education, history lessons, community resources, activites, and creative pieces.
If you have a story or piece you would like to have published and shared in this zine, you can submit work samples, proposals, and completed work in this application. We are looking for work that shares your experiences with the prison system, educates people about prisons, abolition, and transformative justice, or inspires hope for a world without prisons.
Applicants who are incarcerated or formerly incarcerated will be prioritized. We will accept 10 applicants and each will receive a $100 payment, their work published, and an artist feature in our zine.
ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS UNTIL APRIL 25. SELECTED APPLICANTS WILL BE NOTIFIED ON APRIL 30.
If you have any questions, issues, or barriers to applying, please email ting@blackinmatesmatter.com.
